School Boarcl To our School Board and Superintendent of Schools goes the responsibility to provide the grounds, buildings, teaching and non-teaching personnel. equip- ment, supplies. heat. light. power, maintenance, insurance. curriculum, textbooks. the financial structure. etc. necessary to meet the educational needs of the school community which it serves. ' Our progressive, highly mechanized and ex er changing economy is character- ized by the highest standard of living known to any civilization. Our phe- nomenal success is essentiallv due to democratic America's belief in an educa- tional system which provides an opportunity for every boy and girl to obtain an education. Our local School Board composed ol' -lames Stewart, Presidentg Voyle Allen. Secretaryg Leonard llershauer. Treasurer, Herbert Doerstler, Dean Parsons and Frank Xl. Cory will soon turn over to this school community a new modern ele- mentary school building consisting of thirteen classrooms. auditorium and stage. clinic. special education and teachers room. and principal's olhce with an inter- eommlmication system. This building contains the conveniences which go with modern school construction. Time marches on.
