On December 15, the Hi-Y and the Y-Teens sponsored a formal dance, The Candy Cane Cotillion. Jack Armstrongis band played and a stage show featuring Mrs. Shirley Mahoney with other local talent performed. The annual Mother and Daughter Banquet was held March 7. Miss Ioma Hodson, exchange teacher from United States to England, was the speaker. Mrs. Jane Nichols was the capable sponsor. The Patronesses were Nlrs. Elizabeth Dodd. Nlrs. CAST The Little Dog Laughed The junior Class presented on April 18 a delightful comedy, The Little Dog Laughed. It seems that Laurie had been away to college and had learned a little about psychology. Then she decided to use her knowledge of the subject on her family. At last, the family tired of it and decided they must teach Laurie a lesson and stop the nonsense. The scene in which the family staged the purge dance before Laurie and her boy friend was both funny and most effective.
