On December 15, the Hi-Y and the Y-Teens sponsored a formal dance, The Candy Cane Cotillion. Jack Armstrongis band played and a stage show featuring Mrs. Shirley Mahoney with other local talent performed. The annual Mother and Daughter Banquet was held March 7. Miss Ioma Hodson, exchange teacher from United States to England, was the speaker. Mrs. Jane Nichols was the capable sponsor. The Patronesses were Nlrs. Elizabeth Dodd. Nlrs.
