Programs, assignments, studies, experiments, recitals, commencement,-all of these plus many more are found in the yenr's calendar. Firmly We believe that education is the Composite of the experience of living. Fas- cinating is the art of composition: Start with an idea :ind snow ball others with the firstg if one is fortunate, 21 big fort of ideas might be the result. Characters of Shorthand under Miss Thomas American Junior Year Means More Serious Work As seventh and eighth graders we were thrilled with the new building, a change of class rooms and varied subjects. And then we enrolled as freshmen-meek, and a little green-but anxious to fit into the citizenry of the school. After a class party or so with Miss Dutro and Mr. Lester and exposure to shop, biology, English, etc., we entered our sophomore year. We elected Miss Har- vey and Mr. Heniser as our sponsors with the hope that they might give us more freedom. But alas, there were still the well organized restrictions. XVQ partook of home economics, agriculture, art, and languages along with better English and geometrical figures. As juniors we took on a more serious tone. High school days were half gone. Decisions for thorough training must be made. XVe presented our class play, Little XVomen,,, had a party, or so with our sponsors, Miss Hormel and Mr. Rudicel, purchased rings, took active part in Hi-Y and G. R. programs and dances and enjoyed what we felt was a charming reception at the close of the year with our senior classmates. Ten
