Appreciation To Mr. Leonard Gereau For most of us Mr. Gereau has been a most influential part of our lives for all of our school days. First as high school principal and then as Superintendent of the District, Mr. Gereau always had our concerns on his mind first. He was the leader for a strong school district, making it even better with many educa- tional innovations. More important he was a friend who had time, who took time to share with us and to listen to us. We wish him well in his new position with the New York State Education Department. Welcome To Mr. John Galish As our yearbook goes to press, we are awaiting the arrival of Mr. John Galish. Mr. Galish takes Mr. Gereau’s position effective mid-year. We welcome Mr. Galish and wish him well. We also thank Mr. Stuart Townsend who willingly re-took his former position during the interm time of finding a new superintendent.

Dedication Mr. James Corkland Mr. Corkland has taught us well. He has taught many of our parents, our brothers and sisters well. As always he gave of himself. Now he seeks retirement from school, but we know he will always be available, always be con- cerned and always be helping others. For this we thank you. Mrs. Mary Pensel The popular song goes “You light up my life.” That’s Mrs. Pensel. Her room was always cheerful ... blossoming plants, colorful bulletin boards and from Mrs. Pensel always an encouraging word and a ready smile. Mrs. Pensel you are always near and dear to us.
