Behkatum The 1965 Senior Class of the Hadley-Luzerne Central School, does hereby dedi- cate, with great pleasure, our edition of “Hi-Lights” to John Earl Pickens. This man with his unusual manner, has grown very dear to our hearts. Through all our Senior High years, Mr. Pickens has steadily gained respect and admiration, from us, in return for the intelligence and experience we have received. His sparkling personality and wonderful sense of humour, often filled those long class hours with enjoyment and contagious merriment. Teaching a class such as ours, was not exactly an easy task, however he seemed to have succeeded where every- one else failed. From all the Seniors, we say, “thank-you,” Mr. Pickens. 2
