The Senate is our representative student government. The S.A. Drive, the Senate's first activity of the year, was highly successful, enrolling 7870 of the student body. This year the Senate worked on a revision ot the procedure of election of Senate otticers. The group also endorsed the Student Code of Dress, designated Color Days and Dress-up Days, and sponsored the Senate Dance. Herb Bolton, a iunior senator, was elected vice-president ot the i963-1964 New Jersey Association of High School Councils. Jackie Schwanda, Judicial vice-president, and her tour colleagues on the Student Court bench dispensed iustice to errant pupils who received surnmonses for violations of school regulations. wav 't ' , , t STUDENT COURT JUDGES E. Seniors in the upper third of their class and juniors in the upper fifth are chosen fortmembership by the faculty. Because the Evaluation 2', ffCornmittee criticized the passiveness of the Haddon Heights chapter, this year the Society has attempted to correct the situation. Under the direction of Gino Aureli, faculty ad- viser, the members took charge of the annual A.F.S. Members, of the Society who receive addi- tional points for continued efforts in behalf of dra' matics are awarded stars.
