The Senate The student government of our school is the Senate which meets twice a month under the guidance of Mr. Donald Beineman, adviser. ln May of each year, after a period of spirited campaign, the student body elects ollicers from members of the junior class to serve for the followinig year. Aside from the oilicers, membership consists of one repre- sentative from each homeroom, the junior and senior class presidents, the editors-in-chief of the GARNETEER and the SCRIBII, and three members at large. The Senate sponsors the annual Student Association Drive and several dances, approves Athletic Awards, and in general, deals with student affairs.
