Twenty girls were confident and psyched the day of the game. The support on the sidelines was supreme, ,guy cheerleaders Morgan scored in the first quarter. Then Hol- ly Swiney scored for H-K with a quarterback sneak. Runningback Laura Lucas scored two extra ipoints. The Cougars were on offense a good part of the game. in the se- cond half, Laura Lucas scored a se- cond iouchdown, changing the score to 14-8. 0PTlG0 The Staff - Row 1: K. Lukens, S. Minkler, L. Blodgett. Flow 2: L. Baran, E. Hill, S. Lentz, C. Wettish, T. Hayash. Work began on the 1982 edition of Opticon in March of 1981 and ended in July of 1982 with the completion of the summer supplement. Without the dedication and perseverance of a relatively small number of people on the staff, who often made considerable personal sacrifices, this book could not have been completed. Other individuals in the Region 17 community - students, faculty, parents, and merchants - have contributed to the publishing of this edition through their financial and moral support, and, most of all by meeting our sometimes unreasonable requests with cooperation, cheerfulness, and promptness. In particular we would like to thank those individuals who graciously overlooked the mysterious disappearance and even reappearance of supplies, furniture, and other items. We hope that you will enjoy Opticon 1982 and that it will be a source of fond memories for years to come. awk W, Mr. Traester, Advisor
