Jaye has proven his versatility as a linebacker, guard, safety and end. He's an outstanding leader who is very determined, sets high goals, and is an outstanding student, praised coach Dennis O'Rourke in an inter- view with the New Haven Register. Ap- parently, 129 coaches across the state agreed with O'Rourke. X-COUNTRY DOES ITAGAIN Senior co-captains Mark Peterson and Eric Sodergren joined teammates Sean Armstrong, '83, and Neil Wheaton, '85, in being four members of the hugely suc- cessful Boys Cross Countryteam to be named to the All-Shoreline harrier team. All four young men placed in the top twenty in the State Invitational Meet, clearly proving that the Cougars are a pack to be reckoned with. ANDY K-Fl FIRSTIN SOCCER Andrew Klein-Flobbenhaar was named to the All-Shoreline second team, making Var- sity Soccer's captain the first soccer player ever to be honored as such.
