, fix C.- P MRS. HELEN SNYDER MRS. SYBIL STUMP 1-X 'Q 1 MRS. MAB EL TORRENCE I Miss inlvfiilcyi. TUTIIILL X if Miss Camilla Schmitt trains future homemakersg she is known by her students to be a capable instructor and is respon- sible for many delicious odors in the halls. She is a graduate of Misericordia. Mr, William Shipley is the teacher of Industrial Arts and Mechanical Drawing. The objects that many of the students have made in his classes are proofof his ability as a teacher. He is a graduate of Elizabethtown College and U. of Alabama. Mrs. Helen Snyder. an outstanding Physical Ed. teacher and friend to everyone. was graduated from Savage College. Her happy smile and jovial manner is an iron link in our school. Mrs. Syhill Stump, our messenger of songs, is our chorus director who has won the co-operation and friend- ship of very many of us. Her patience and hard work are a credit to our school. Mrs. Mabel Torrence, who teaches History, is also our class advisor. Her helpfulness and leadership in our Senior activities have been gratefully accepted by all of us. Her Alma Mater is Douglas College. Miss Patricia Tuthill is our new English teacher, hut not too new to us for she was graduated from H. H. S. She is known for her projects in English class and also deserves a great deal of credit for helping to assemble the Oracle. Miss Tuthill came to us this year from Keuka College. Mr. William Voorhees is our bookkeeping and oflice- practice master: aside from this he has helped us tre- mendously with our Junior Prom. He is a graduate of Rider College. Our secretarial staff must long he remembered. for many times, without these members, there would be moments of complete chaos. Their helpfulness and friendly person- alities will help us keep in mind both, Miss Ruth Frost, who efficiently runs the Public School Office, and is also known for her beautiful singing voice. as well as Mrs. Alice Sargeant. who ably fits her dual role as High School Secretary and good friend to all students: she is a spark that lights us up when we are feeling low. .1 JMX ft IJ fl VL N mi l. -s 'C Sf MRS.
