On March 19, 1954 we held this dance. We worked hard for everyone to enjoy round and square dancing to music by Happy Sn0ver's Band. The second chance for our class to take lead in school activities was the ulVIemorial Day Program on May 28, 1954. We had as a guest speaker, Father Sickles. We had his inspiring address to help us toward the end we had set for ourselves. Shortly afterwards, our second year came to an end. With the storm lessening, skies began to brighten and this third year was to prove the best yet. We again chose our officers proudly. We had our first girl president-Shirley Vreeland.
