Round-Up Hackberry High School In Memoriam MR. M. G. RICHARDSON The World stands out on either side No wider than the heart is wide; Above the world is stretched the sky, No higher than the soul is high. The heart can push the sea and land Farther away on either hand; The soul can split the sky in two, And let the face of God shine through. But East and West will pinch the heart That cannot keep them pushed apart; And he whose soul is flat -- the sky Will cave in on him by and by. From Renaissance Edna St. Vincent Millay. 2 Contents Introduction Faculty and Administration Classes Favorites Activities Advertisers Dedication When I hear the old men Telling of heroes. Telling of great deeds Of Ancient days. When I hear that telling Then I think within me Mrs. Gillespie too is one of them When I hear the people Praising great ones, Then I know that she too Shall be esteemed, She too when her time comes Shall do mightily. We, the annual staff of 1966-67, dedicate this annual to Mrs. Arlene Gillespie. She devoted her time and talents to better prepare us for the future.
