In sprin+s and shor+ sfrefches if was Paul Moore who usually received 1'he Blue and Gold's call. Paul, a mas+er of fhe I00-yard dash, recenfly displayed his abilify by winning fhe number fhree spof in fhe cify sfandings. Running 'I'he longer dislances was lhe iob of Roberf Ginsburg, Norman DaSilva, and Al Lawes. Like fhe frack feam, Haaren's diamond dwellers in fhe course of four years have lived up fo all expecfafions. True, fheir record has nof been as glossy as fhaf of 'rhe fracksfers, buf fhere are fimes when fhe abilify of afhlefes cannof be defermined by scores alone. By measuring fhe 'ralenfs of Haaren's sfickmen, man for man, fhe Blue and Gold nine is comparable fo any feam in fhe mefropolis. This is nof only frue, for any parficular Haaren ball feam alone, buf for every baseball feam fhaf has worn a Haaren uniform info compe- fifion. The proof of fhis sfafemenf lies in fhe record books and in fhe persons of fhe Blue and Gold performers who have gone on fo, or are going on fo greafer heighfs.
