Tokens of mourning and the most sincere condolences cannot express the sense of loss we sustained at the untimely passing of so rare a friend. If the regard of his peers serves as any criterion of a person’s worth, then John’s brief life was as productive and meaningful as could possibly be hoped for by any young man.
