The tough Mad Dog defense, led by Randall Browning's eleven individual tackles, combined with Michael Harrelson's inspiring 65 yard touchdown run, proved to be enough to hand Albany its only defeat of the year and vanquished their chances of the state crown. The outcome was never certain until, in the final minute of play, a missed field goal by the Indians clinched the victory. Bill Watson
