Their main goal each year has been to go toa library convention where they have heard talks in library techiques and book reviews. The club was formed to help fellow library assistants get to know each other and discuss their common interests in library work. ‘Anyone with an interest in art’’ could join the Art Club according to Mrs. Newton, club advisor. The main purpose of the club was to encourage interest in art and to promote art in the school.
