An annual is a reference book and permanent record of the school year. To a member of the staff, however, the yearbook represents the IGDSSDSSS before deadlines, when pressure is high. The pace quickens, and somehow the pictures are printed, the copy written, pages drawn up, finished, checked, double checked and finally mailed. Members of NHS must maintain a B plus average to remain in the society and must be in at least two major activities and several minor ones. Leadership in these activities is essential. Students who are eligible for NHS are selected by a faculty advisory com- mittee which chooses not more than ten per cent of the junior and senior classes.
