Tokes Brohmos Capitalizing on B rahma fumbles and on their own speed, the McAllen Bulldogs ran over the helpless Brahmas Z8-6 on the Bulldog's home field, With less than two minutes of the first quar- ter gone, the Brahmas set themselves up on two long pass plays on the McAllen 6. Maples' conversion was blocked. Upon holding the Bears, the Brahmas took over on their own 25 yard line, M cKinne y ran 75 yards for another score, making it 13-0. After a one-sided quarter, the score was 32-O at the half. Beginning the third quarter Pharr made their first touchdown. With less than a minute re maining in the quarter, Pharr scored their last touchdown. During the fourth quarte r, Kingsville scored two touch- downs which brought the final score to 44-12 Kingsville. Coyotes Stampede Bulls Hard fighting Alice Coyotes worked hard for their 34-0 win over the Brahmas, and the win gave Alice an undefeated and untied season. Although the Brahmas lost according to the score board, Billy Brasher broke his own passing record for tosses thrown in one ballgame. Brasher threw 62 passes, completing ZZ for 2.03 yards. Seven passes were intercepted. Alice scored after only 54 seconds of play and the conversion was good, but the Coyotes were held to the slim mar- gin until two rninutes before half-time when Alice again scored. The Brahma's defensive line held the struggling Coyotes at bay and crumpled only during the last half of the game.
