TABLE OF CONTENTS DEDICATION - 4 2 EDITOR’S PAGE We, the Yearbook Staff of 1978, hope the following pages will serve as a remem- brance of the magical fantasies lived during our school years. This was a special year for us. As seniors we shared the joys and pains of growing and changing together. We will always remember the senior trip, the basketball games, the prom and ... In the best sense, we see our high school as the Crackerbox Palace - a place where dreams and hopes were bom. As the gate to Crackerbox Palace closes for us another gate swings open - the gate to our future. We hope you enjoy the memories we have put together for you. 3 DEDICATION We, the Class 78, would like to dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Joseph DePasquale. Even though Mr. DePasquale has been with us only two years, he has shown great in- terest in our class and the student body in-general. He has gone beyond the point of just being a principal; he has become a friend. So, with grateful thanks and appreciation, we dedicate this yearbook Notre Livre, to Mr. Joseph DePasquale. 4 Yeh, that s what I think of him. 5 ALMA MATER Our hearts leap up as we behold Thy name across the sky Set in stars as time unfolds Thy name shall never die. Dear old Hoffman Alma MateT Thy honor we'll uphold Loyalty and deep devotion For the purple and the gold Dear Hoffman. Hail to thee Our Alma Mater Hail to thee for aye Yours to nurture every student Yours to glorify. 6 JIMMY ABBATIELLO AMBITION: Auto Mechanic ACTIVITIES: Intramural Basketball 9, 10 JOANN ABBATIELLO AMBITION: Truck Driver ACTIVITIES: Volleyball 9, 11, 12 JV Basketball Scorekeep- er 9 Varsity Softball Scorekeeper 11 Varsity Soccer Score- keeper 10, 11, 12 Vice-President 9 Basketball 10 LAURA ANN WESTERHOLM AMBITION: Fashion Merchandising Management ACTIVITIES: Future Teachers of America 9, 10, Secretary 11 Student Council 9, 11, 12 National Honor Society 10, 11, 12 Prom Committee 11 Badmintton 10 Ceramics 10 News- paper 11, 12 Yearbook 12 A G S Teen Award 12 CLARKSON TIMOTHY BLOOD GOOD AMBITION: Carpenter ACTIVITIES: Basketball 9 Soccer 10, 11,12 Volleyball 10, 11, 12 Ecology Club 9 GAYE ANDREA BOUDINOT AMBITION: Secretary ACTIVITIES: Volleyball 9 Ceramics 9 Intramural Cheer- leader 9 Gymnastics 9 1 GARY BRINKERHOFF AMBITION: Computer and Electronics ACTIVITIES: Basketball 9 Volleyball 9, 10, 11, 12 9 MARY BUCZYNSKI AMBITION: College: Secretary ACTIVITIES: Volleyball 9, 10, 11, 12 Tennis 10 National Honor Society 10, 11, 12 Pep Club 11, 12 Yearbook 12 Prom Committee 11 Secretary of Junior Class KAREN WYZYKOWSKI AMBITION: College (Accountant) ACTIVITIES: Volleyball 9, 10, 11, 12 JV Cheerleader Co- Capt. 10 Varsity Cheerleader 11 Co-Capt. 12 Gymnastics 9, 10, 11, 12 National Honor Society 10, 11, 12 Vice-Presi- dent 12 Student Council 9, 11, 12 Future Teachers of A- merica 9, 10, 11 Pep Club 9, 10 Yearbook Copy Editor 12 Tennis 10 A S Teen Award 12 BOB CLAYTON AMBITION: College ACTIVITIES: Volleyball 9, 10, 11, 12 JV Basketball 9 JV Baseball 9 Varsity Basketball 10, 11, 12 Varsity Baseball 10, 11, 12 Football 11 Principal Advisory Committee 11 10 BILL DAVIES AMBITION: Nuclear Physicist ACTIVITIES: Cross Country 9, 10, 11, 12 Newspaper 10, 11, 12 Principal's Advisory Committee 10, 11, 12 Intramural Volleyball 10, 11, 12 Badminton 10 Yearbook 12 THERESA MARIE COYLE AMBITION: Psychologist ACTIVITIES: Football 9, Vice-President 11 10, 11, 12 Basketball 11 Class 11 WAYNE DEAK AMBITION: Air Force ACTIVITIES: Cross Country 9, 10, 11, 12 JV Basketball 9, 10 Varsity Basketball 11, 12 JV Baseball 9, 10 Varsity Baseball 11, 12 Football 9, 10, 11, 12 Volleyball 9, 10, 11, CATHERINE FRISCH AMBITION: Get married ACTIVITIES: Volleyball 9 EDWARD DILL 12 MARK DORRICK MARY ELEANOR GRAY AMBITION: Physical Therapist ACTIVITIES: Treasurer 9 Volleyball 9 Pep Club 9, 10, 11 Prom Committee 11 Student Council 11 Future Teachers of America 10 Football 10, 12 EDWARD FOLDI 13 DIANA JOHNSON AMBITION: Model ACTIVITIES: Intramural Cheerleader 9 Charm Club 9 Ecology Club 9 Library Club 9 Ceramics 9 Volleyball 9 Gymnastics 9 Soccer Cheerleader 10; Co-Capt. 11 Dance Committee 10, 11, 12 ANDREW HULSART AMBITION: Photographer ACTIVITIES: Volleyball 9, 10, 12 Soccer 11, 12 LOIS ANN WORTLEY AMBITION: Beautician ACTIVITIES: Volleyball 9 Pep Club 9, 10, 11, 12 Gym- nastics 9 Future Teachers of America 9 l 14 HELEN KLEIN AMBITION: College (accountant) ACTIVITIES: Volleyball 9, 10,11, 12 Tennis 10 National Honor Society 10,11,12; Treasurer 12 Pep Club 11,12, Prom Committee 11 Class Treasurer 12 15 EILEEN A.
