During the meetings discussion ranged from philosophy to chemistry to literature. In addition to these discussions every member did re- search on a topic of his own choosing. and then re- ported to the group on his Endings. Throughout their high school career, these students have demonstrated ex- cellent character traits, have shown qualities of leadership, and have generously served the school. As a service to the school, this year the students have initiated a tutoring service for the purpose of aiding those boys and-, girls -.who need help in the various subject areas. As a Nservicev to the school, this group sponsors the MAll-Nicn-Broke Dancef' a social event which has always provided a pleasant evening for all who at- tended. For the second consecutive year, the Clipper has won Second Place in the Columbia Scholastic Press Award. As an improvement over last year, the Clipper was published once every three weeks in the fall term until financial difficulties forced the editors to change back to a monthly issue. This year the Clipper has extended its school coverage and has added to its coverage of community youth club events. The editor hopes to publish an April Fools issue. Cooperating in producing the paper are Mrs. Sandra Berman's Secretarial class which types Clipper copy, and Mr. F. S. Obrenski, who supervises the art work.
