Teacher Dedication Students Honor utstanding Teachers As the seniors of 1981 approach the future, there are memories of past teachers who have made outstanding impressions in their lives. The 1981 class of graduating seniors would like to thank two teachers whom they feel have been exceptional influences on their academic careers, by honoring these teachers with the Panther teacher dedi- cation. This year, this tribute has been bestowed upon Mr. Paul Stone and Miss Barbara Simpson. Mr. Stone, who is currently working on his doctorate in Math Education, shows his dedication to Plant in many ways. Besides teaching math courses such as Math 5 and Computer Math, he offers tutoring to students who need ,-MQW ff ww help outside the classroom. Not only is Mr. Stone involved in the academic aspects of the school, but he is also active in many extra-curricular activi- ties such as Powder Puff football, Don- key Basketball, and Chess Team. Fur- thermore, hardly a football game goes by that Mr. Stone isn't in the stands cheering on the mighty Panthers. Miss Simpson, a truly devout Pan- ther, has been at Plant since 1966. Since this time she has taught American His- tory, and has just recently begun teach- ing her popular Philosophy class. Miss Simpson has coached the girls, Tennis team, judged Panther Prowl preliminar- ies, and in 1981 she became sponsor for Kiwanettes. Miss Simpson also has great athletic abilities, as she is one of the top amateur runners in the state of Florida. Because of these teachers, devotion and humanitarianism, we would like to dedicate the 1981 Panther to Paul Stone and Barbara Simpson. I really felt like Dora Dumb! That is a nice problem. M' S' iss impson is loved by all her students
