We, Ruth Powell and Marshall E. Smith bequeath our debating eloquence to J. T. Chancey and Harold Copeland. I, Almon Short, will my nervous energy to Jimmie Walker. We, Ruth Hall Ybanez and Joy Ferguson, leave to Mildred Towner and Eileen Foley our knowledge of how to get out of Mr. Nava's second period Spanish class. We, Katherine Carter and Elinor Barron, do hereby will our sunburn dresses to Sam Davis and Joe Beatty. I, Ines Lee Bottari, do leave my ability to keep out of trouble to Madeline Bittman. We, Mareese Caraballo and Guy Vaughn, bestow our cute and winning ways upon Syd Fleming. 1 I, Louise Turner, do leave with Byrl Sessions, my knowledge of how to handle teachers. p I, Becky Price, do give my ever present smile and humor to Frank Houlihan. 1, Myrtilla Johnson, will my imagination to Mary Jane Cawthon. We, the Virgil A Class, leave our stock of, marvelous wit and poines to the Virgil B Class. Also, we give them Gene Montayne's satire, Jo Waterman's humor, Catherine Carter's giggle, Maxine Winton's brilliance, Margaret Woodward'g vocabulary and the blushes of Marshall Smith. We, the Class, do hereby appoint and endow Principal M. W. Carothers and Miss Gladys Anthony with full powers as joint executors of this, our last will and testament. The Panther LAST WILL AND TESTAMLNT We, the 1929 Graduating Class of H. B. Plant High School, expecting to soon de- part forever from this High School life, and being in full possession of our mental faculties, do hereby make this our last will and testament. SECTION I We give to the Faculty our sincere thanks for their interest, and help given us during our high school career. .SECTION II ...... We do will and bequeath to the Juniors our Senior dignity, honors, privileges and our coveted seats in assembly. SECTION III To the Sophomoreg we cheerfully give such paper, tattered books, and second-hand chewing gum as may be found scattered in halls or lockers. SECTION IV We also make such separate and personal bequests as follows: I, Louis Castor, do will my handsome profile to James Beasley. I, Maxine Winton, hereby bequeath my ability to hear, see and transport all gos- sip, to Jean Lawrence, in the hope that she will faithfully carry on the work, get into just as much trouble as I have, and finally, fully deserve the title of Traveling News- paper. We, George Corrigan and Nellie Wynne Sullivan, bestow upon Terry Gil and Sam Davis our athletic fame and ability. I. Claude Trowell, bequeath my knowledge of the correct way to run an office, to Nadine Smith. I, Eugenia McKee, do will my extraordinary powers of concentration to Mary Anderson. I, Margaret McClintock, give my graceful and perfect walk to Marguerite Kreher. I, Wop Joubert, bestow my laugh upon Jimmie McGregor. I, Margaret Singleton, do will and bestow my extreme lack of height upon Zada Bentley. I, Jo Waterman, bequeath my lifetime subscription to College Humor and Amer- ican Wit to Victor Yeats, in the hope that Mr. Yeats' humor may be improved upon in that way. I, Fred Thrower, give my nose to Sol Jacobs. I. Robbie Barker, do will my tall and slender figure to Agnes Cameron, that she may in the future be the same. I, Minelle Summers, leave my soaring soprano voice to Nita Midgley, that she may learn to sing Song of Songs.
