The Panther LAST WILL AND TESTAMLNT We, the 1929 Graduating Class of H. B. Plant High School, expecting to soon de- part forever from this High School life, and being in full possession of our mental faculties, do hereby make this our last will and testament. SECTION I We give to the Faculty our sincere thanks for their interest, and help given us during our high school career. .SECTION II ...... We do will and bequeath to the Juniors our Senior dignity, honors, privileges and our coveted seats in assembly. SECTION III To the Sophomoreg we cheerfully give such paper, tattered books, and second-hand chewing gum as may be found scattered in halls or lockers. SECTION IV We also make such separate and personal bequests as follows: I, Louis Castor, do will my handsome profile to James Beasley. I, Maxine Winton, hereby bequeath my ability to hear, see and transport all gos- sip, to Jean Lawrence, in the hope that she will faithfully carry on the work, get into just as much trouble as I have, and finally, fully deserve the title of Traveling News- paper. We, George Corrigan and Nellie Wynne Sullivan, bestow upon Terry Gil and Sam Davis our athletic fame and ability. I. Claude Trowell, bequeath my knowledge of the correct way to run an office, to Nadine Smith. I, Eugenia McKee, do will my extraordinary powers of concentration to Mary Anderson. I, Margaret McClintock, give my graceful and perfect walk to Marguerite Kreher. I, Wop Joubert, bestow my laugh upon Jimmie McGregor. I, Margaret Singleton, do will and bestow my extreme lack of height upon Zada Bentley. I, Jo Waterman, bequeath my lifetime subscription to College Humor and Amer- ican Wit to Victor Yeats, in the hope that Mr. Yeats' humor may be improved upon in that way. I, Fred Thrower, give my nose to Sol Jacobs. I. Robbie Barker, do will my tall and slender figure to Agnes Cameron, that she may in the future be the same. I, Minelle Summers, leave my soaring soprano voice to Nita Midgley, that she may learn to sing Song of Songs. I, Margaret Roach, hereby will my willing attitude and gracious charm to Sheila Elliot. 1929

Georgie Lee Casalins is managing Plant High lunch room. Margaret Jones teaching gym at Columbia University. Elizabeth Morgan is a Chatauqua performer of renown. Bill McNevin is taking Henry Ford's place in the automobile industry Margaret Woodward is an authorxof note, her most popular book being, Better Discipline Needed in Schools. Rebecca Price-a missionary to Africa. Fernguanita Latta, dean of girls at Plant,High School. Lyle Williams, speaker in the house of representatives. Jo Waterman, starred in Ziegiield Follies. Ermine Pate and Helen Williams running a large hotel in Georgia. Thomas Cressler, Vernon Lastinger and Laban Lively are now college football coaches. Augusta Topping, Elizabeth McRae, Virginia McKenzie, owners of Fifth Avenue's most famous dressingmaking establishment. Mary Elizabeth Stuart and Oscar Elder have been happily married for some years and are now living in Seffner. William. Joubert's laugh has won him a place in the talkies, Elizabeth Durkee has returned to Czechoslavakia where she now tells the school children of the queer American customs. Bertha Hamner is married of course. Ben Thompson is a civil engineer. Rhea Gallagher and Nellie Sullivan astounding the country with their wonderful ability as athletes. James Keach is a man of leisure, since his inheritance of ten thousand dollars. Eugenia McKee, fat lady in Barnum gl Bailey's circus. Travis Youmans has the Ford agency in Tampa. Etta Lee Gore is a soloist in the First Baptist choir. Jean Cooper, girl scout executive. Fred Smith, vaudeville favorite, noted for his funny monologues. Adella Williams is hostess at the Forest Hills Country Club. Kenneth Benson, animal trainer for Robert Gill's circus. Elinor Barron, a famous reformer-fayou will remember she began her career at Plant High. Elizabeth Smith, Minelle Summers and Henrietta Snyder have a fashionable danc- ing school for children at Philadelphia. Ruth ,Powell and Esther Pelton are, respectively, publisher and joke editor of the College Humor. Jean Bigham, famous doctor in Washington, D. C. Lois Mays, owns the largest candy factory in Plant City, Mary Alice Lawrence, house mother at the S. A. E. House at the U. of Florida. Ruth Massman and Elsie Taylor both married Atlanta millionaries, Rosalie Geraci and Jack Harris have taken the place of Helen Wills and Ben Tilden in the tennis world. Guy Vaughn, a bachelor very much in demand. Ah, my dear madame, I fear that 1 cannot tell you more for the crystal has clouded over and the spell has been broken.
