june 1931 GWYNNONIA 41 CITY CHAMPIONS, SEVENTH AND Excl-ITI-I GRADE BASKETBALL 9A5 WINS SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP IN SOCCER After a hard iight, 9A5 won the school champ- ionship in soccer. Playing three scoreless games with 8B11, 9A5 met 9B11 in a game to decide the winner of the A.A. trophy. The game was score- less until in the extra period Oliver Roberts of 9A5 kicked the winning point and the team played a defensive game until the final whistle. Although the other schools had good teams, Gwynns Falls put up a good Fight and came out victorious. The RB team also made a good showing, losing only two games.
