The initiation of Parents' Weekend was the accomplishment of the resident students. It was an opportunity for parents to meet with the faculty and other parents and students. The schedule called for a tea with the faculty, a social hour followed by dinner. Entertain- ment that evening was by the noted tenor, John Miles.
