J.V.’s Go Undefeated; Win Conference Title Eight and O, and None To Go” by Steve Kline This year's J.V.'s have completed the winningest season in Gwinn Football history. They scored more points than any other Gwinn J.V. team 232 while giving up only 58. Next year's team should have many seasoned veterans since so many freshmen got to play this year (in fact they won a freshman game with Negaunee 12-8.) Coach Gendron, who may retire this season after 12 years as a coach in 4 sports, is seconded by Coach Pelkie when he says With a lot of personal sacri- fice next year we should have a good season ... Perhaps with the precedence set this year our footoan teams will get just recognition. The past record of this year's football team is without doubt a chal- lenge to all future teams.
