GARY FREEMAN has attended Guy- mon High School for three years. Gary would like to attend an automotive school and become an auto mechanic. MIKE FRANTZ has attended school at Guymon for seven years. Mike’s pas- times are hunting, swimming, and horseback riding. He would like to follow a business career after attending P.S.C. JUDY GOOCH has also attended Guy- mon Schools for seven years. She is active in Pep Club, and horses and reading are her pastimes. Judy will attend Amarillo Business College and follow a secretarial career. THE POPULAR MINI SKIRTS were looked down upon by the faculty this year, so some students decided to take steps to change their minds. Pictured are Laura Kane, Janet Henson, Leiloni Stamper, Peggy Reed, Jill McMurry, and Karen Johnson. They presented themselves before Mrs. Griffis, school counselor, with a bit of the midi-look instead. 25

Members of the P.T.A. were Lucian Lee. Gail Howell, and David Kidwell. Also shown is Marcia Burkett as Mrs. Johnson. “Harper Valley P.T.A.” was pantomimed by Karen Johnson and Marcia Burkett. The Senior Assembly displayed the many talents of the Class of 69 and was enjoyed by all. The assembly theme was “The Amateur Hour,” but everyone who performed showed a bit of the professional look. The class officers served as judges and the best act received an award. Daryl Lewis, Diane Dietrich, Mary Anne Atkins, Joan Mathewson, Mary Mott, and Sherry Sturdivan. Lucian Lee and Jerry Dixon won the prize for the best act. They sang a song they wrote themselves.
