RONALD CARDEN is a member of the Diversified Occupations classes and is presently employed by Hinchey Ford Inc. Ronald enjoys drag racing and is planning to attend PSC where he will train to become a mechanic. FLOYD CASTLEBERRY moved to Guymon two years ago from Catoosa. Floyd likes to hunt and wants to be a member of the FBI or a teacher. Floyd is undecided where he will attend col- lege. ALEN CLEMANS has attended the Guymon Schools for four years and has been in Diversified Occupations and Drama Club. Alan plans to train as an auto mechanic while attending Pan- handle State. ’68 Homecoming ANOTHER HIGHLIGHT of the Homecoming Festivities was the bonfire which took place October 24, the night before the game. A contest was held between the classes to see which class could gather the most wood. The Seniors won the contest and their sign topped the mound of burning wood. JUDY COOPER has been a twelve year member of the Class of 1969. Judy may attend Panhandle but plans to follow the career as a housewife. 17

RAYMOND BUXTON has been a member of the Class of ’69 for eight years. Raymond names cars and track as his pastimes and hobbies. Panhandle is Raymond’s choice of colleges. PHIL BYERLEY is in Drama Club and ICT. Phil is undecided on the col- lege he hopes to attend but wants to be a mechanic or physical education teacher. LINDA CAMPBELL, Senior cheerlead- er, is in the Oklahoma and National Honor Societies. Linda is president of her MYF youth group. She would like to follow a career as an elementary school teacher. The crowning of the 1968 Football Queen was a highlight of the Guymon Tigers Homecoming. Jill McMurry was crowned queen by her escort Otis Barnum. Her court was Una Jo Mahancy, escorted by Melvin Earl, and Nancy Northup, escorted by Hardy Collins. 4

1969 Senior UNA JO MAHANEY was selected a Class Favorite this year by classmates, and she holds many other honors. She was first runner-up to the 1968 Football Queen. Una Jo has been a twirler for G.H.S. for two years, and she is on the 1969 El Tigre Staff. TODD RALSTIN, one of the Class Favorites has been a member of the Class of ’69 for twelve years. Todd has participated in football and basketball and served both well. This year Todd is a Student Council Representative.
