fi L Omg ni ii. We frfffw ff? DEDICATION ln every school there is one person who stands out for devotion and service. Mrs. A. D. Bradshaw has served this school for more than seventeen years. She has been a teacher, counselor, friend, and com- panion. She herself has attained many honors while guiding her students along the road of life. Her friendliness and selfless application to the principles of education have served to endear her to the many she has taught and known. We can only express our feelings by saying, 'We love n you.

Every morning at 8:45, the bell at Guthrie High School announces the start of another day of learning for four-hundred and nineteen stu- dents. These people come from their homes in many different ways. Some in cars, some on mo- tor scooters, some in school buses, and some of the more hardy ones, by foot. Once inside the building, they may become engaged in many dif- ferent activities. The primary obiect is to teach the students, so the twenty-one members of the faculty try to instruct their charges in the many subiects taken by Guthrie High School students. A class meeting or a meeting of one of the many school organizations may interrupt the schedule Between classes, the sound of locker doors slamming mingles with the sound of running feet and the ring of merry laughter. At noon, the halls are filled with people talking or just wandering around. After school, everyone rushes home to study so they can attend the ball game that night. This is the Kynewisbok! This is the book that reviews all the happenings of the school during the year. We hope that as you thumb through your copy, you will remember many dif- ferent events which are in some way special to you. The i958 edition of the Kynewisbok could not have been completed without the full co-oper- ation of the students and faculty of Guthrie High for a short time, but soon they are back in class. i l l Not only does Mrs. Bradshaw teach 6 classes at two schools, but also she devotes much of her time to other activities. As sponsor of the Brush and Pal- ette Art Club, she uses many hours in decorating ban- quets and as sponsor of the senior class, she spends a lot of hurried moments helping the senior officers run the class smoothly.
