The class of '58 was led by Chuck Gibson, president, Larry Marang, vice-president Ann Hoag, secretary, Kay Brown, treasurer, and Roy Baker, reporter. Mrs. A. D. Bradshaw and Mr. Arthur Kroeger were elected sponsors. Student council representatives, chosen last spring, included Jackie Underwood, Virginia Miller, Johnny Clark, and Jay McKee. Virginia Miller, Rosemary Penny, and Jackie Underwood were chosen representatives to Girl's State held last summer. Bill Petty, Larry Marang, Charles Crooks, Harold Logsdon, and John Fogarty were chosen to go to Boy's State. Johnny Clark, Bill Petty, Charles Crooks, Charles Gibson, John Fogarty, Jim Anthis, and Harold Shope attended the Oklahoma High School Institute held at Oklahoma State University. Honors were not rare to this senior class. Judy Doenges was elected D.A.R. representative and Band Queen, Charlene Brown was chosen Foot- ball Queen, Earlene Payton was Basketball Queen, and Mary Meier, F.F.A. Queen. A 'Kid Party' on November I2 found the seniors returning to their childhood as they donned iuvenile costumes. Entrance into the gymnasium was a giant slide. Toys for the needy were given to the firemen for distrubution at a Christmas party held December 19. Senior night and the class picnic were special events of the latter part of the year.
