She is Joan Loeb a sen 1or who IS very capable in the position which is no easy task The Black and Gold appears every Tues day in the Guthrian paper The page consists of several regular fea tures and other news articles pertaining to the different events happening throughout the school year Each week on Thursday Joan hands out the assignments to the members of the staff with strict instructions to have the assignments in the following Wednesday Of course this is not always fulfilled to the utmost The page is well-read by almost every- one who is interested in school affairs and we hope its publication is continued in the following years UNITED TELEPHONE OF IOWA
