There IS also a Nauonal F H A p1n whlch members may purchase. The pm conststs of an emblem and a guard The emblem IS a plane octangal 1n shape. Across the top 1S wr1tten the name Future Homemakers of Amertca Around the lower s1des of the plane ts the motto toward new hor1zons In the center of the p1n there IS a house supported by two hands wh1ch symbohzes that the future homes of Amertca are tn the hands of 1ts youth Last fall the members worked very hard to obta1n new members They also had reorgamzauon and e1ect1on of new members before b6COITllllg a part of the nat1onal group The members were very pleased to be able to attend the d1str1ct F H A meetmg held 1n Jefferson Iowa last fall There they learned new 1deas for commur11ty and home projects Also ,Toy Lydon was elected as d1str1ct representmve from Gllfllfle Ce.nter Page sponsored by BEACHS 5 AND 10 X Q fs 0 . Durlng the mne years of 1ts extstence, the local ll X K F F A chapter has carrled on many 3CI1V1IlSS QF-IEDM 7 Each member 1S reqtured to have aproject for each year of mem QAO 5 bershlp These projects can be anything from field crops to ra1s1ng E N WN 9 hogs or feedmg cattle.
