CY 1 5-N Wm- . ,J -. ' wwf? 'f f L. TWIRP WEEK The week of January 28 to February 1 was our third annual Twirp Week, sponsored by the Service Club. During Twirp Week, the girls must ask the boys for dates, provide transportation, and pay for the entertainment, At school, the girls have to open doors for the boys, carry boys books, and eat last in the hot lunch line. Any offender, which in- cludes boys who refuse the services of the girls, are put on the Service Club's black list. This year, at the Costume Party, which climaxes the week, the students on the black list had to pantomime popular songs. For the Costume party, everyone dressed in storybook costumes, They circled around the floor for the benefit of the judges, who were to pick a king and queen of twirp week. Our king and queen this year were Karee Logue and Eldon Laughery. They re- oeived beautiful cardboard and raism crowns. Refreshments were served to all then the dance band played for the party.
