HOM ECOMING Homecoming for the high school started Friday afternoon with a rousing pep-meeting down town. School was dismissed early so students could finish floats and prepare for the big evening. The parade started at 7:00 and was led by the High School Band. Riding in couvcrtiblcs was the Queen, Dorothy Booth, and her attendants, Also in the parade were the class floats, Glee Club float, and an F, F, A, float. Grade school students participated with their tiaily de- corated bicycles. The senior float was judged best and then in succession, the sophomore, freshmen and juniors. During half-time of the football game, which G. C. lost to Jefferson, me queen was crowned by co-captains, Rich Gilson and Earle Davis.
