PREVIEW FOR ’84 In our democratic society the public schools are responsible to the patrons of the district. Five school board members are elected. These public spirited men and women give of their time in order to make the best education possible for the student in this district. The school year included the resignation of Mr. Holt and the election of two new board members, Mr. Thomas and Dr. Paggett. A special session of the state legislature provided additional funds for the 1984 school year. In addition a bill was passed requiring teacher testing for 1985.
