Gnrxis Tistliile, NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The National Honor Societyxgives recognition to 15 per cent of the members of the junior and senior classes who have shown outstanding qualities of character, leadership, service, and scholarship. Candidates for induction must be in the upper one-third of their class academically and must have spent at least one year in the school. Member- ship in the National Honor Society is the highest distinction conferred on high school students, ln the early spring, before parents of the new members and the student body, an impressive initiation ceremony is conducted by senior members selected the previous year.
