We complete the 1954 LOG with mixed feelings of relief and sadness-relief that the sleepless nights, the arguments, and the ominous deadlines are ended, sadness that the spirit of teamship, the silly Staff jokes, and the feeling of accomplishment are gone. We wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to Mr. C. J. Harper, our advisor, for his very faithful guidance and invaluable assistance. We also extend our thanks to James Light, our very patient Staff photographer, to Mr. Fulton for his excellent photographic work, to Mr. Pyle for his whole-hearted cooperation, to Mrs. Shirley Patton for her interest in the annual and her willingness to be of assistance. If we, the Log Staff, have been able in some measure to re-create for you the many enjoyable events at GHSg to capture the indefinable atmosphere of friendliness, industry, and cheerfulness that fills the corridors, and to fix in your memory the friendships you have shared, then we shall have won the prize-your approval and Commendation.
