J, -. The position of Dean of Students is not an easy one, for it demands patience and under- standing. As Gulf Park's Dean of Women, Mrs. Lois Ferrell employs both of these virtues in dealing with all situations which arise on campus. Her willingness to aid every student, her untiring devotion to duty, and the capable manner in which she executes her duties of office make her a favorite with the student body. Mrs. Ferrell is never too busy to discuss any problem which a student may have. Her great interest in academic achievement and in stu- dent activities reflects her every action. She has instilled within the entire student body a sense of responsibility and pride in the accom- plishments of our college. Because of her high ideals and fair decisions, she is certainly worthy of our thanks and praise. As all students enter and leave Gulf Park, they invariably become better individ- uals, because Mrs. Ferrell has touched their lives. D p DE!-iN UF TT , STUDENTS Mrs. Lois M. Ferrell
