Jai 5.40.1 CifizensAiP ' miss Qnger Carre The greatest honor bestowed on a High School girl at Gulf Park is the High School Citizenship Award. Miss Ginger Garroll, this year's winner, was chosen by the entire student body as the best ex- ample of the ideals of Gulf Park to be found in its spirited high school. Ginger is a warm, friendly person who always finds time to talk to any student. She is quite active in all fields of sports, and her competitive spirit makes her well-liked by all. Ginger knows how to win well, she can also lose well if defeat comes. Her willingness to accept responsibility is ap- preciated by students and faculty alike. Being president of the high school has not deterred Ginger from being just one of the girls, too, She takes pleasure in help- ing people and is frequently embroiled in ironing out little difliculties in her dormi- tory. With all the time she spends on extracurricular activities, Ginger does not neglect her studies, maintains a good av- erage, and is an active member of the Beta Glub. As a leader, student, and all- around girl, Ginger is an inspiration not only to the high school but to the whole student body of Gulf Park.
