Some dreams for your college have been coming true this year-the new kitchen and dining room, the air-conditioned residence hall, the new post office and student lounge. We have been torn up with prog- ress, and you have been most considerate and patient throughout the inconveniences that accompany new construction. I hope you have been inspired by these beginnings of institutional growth, for there is more to come, hopefully in the near future. Perhaps some of your personal dreams have come true this year. You are a year closer to the goal you have set for yourself. Maybe some perplexing problem in your life or thought has been resolved. Maybe the direction you wish your life to take has been determined. Maybe a cherished ambition is achieving fulfillment. Your friendships have increased. If this year at Gulf Park has been the time and the place where you have found increased happiness and usefulness, we rejoice with you. I hope that Gulf Park has played a significant and uplifting role in your life and that you understand and appreciate the world and the society in which you will live, that you can yearn more intensely for the noble and useful life, and that you are aware that the facts and relationships of life are just beginning to be opened up to you. May you look back upon this year as one of the happiest and most mem- orable you have known. 14 KVWVM4 and Mrs James and then daughter Judy 4.4:--M--M -V -- - .. .WWW X 9
