Fifty-one human senior notes have echoed their allegiance to their alma mater through this year of nineteen hundred and fifty-three. We assembled ourselves into a chord of praise to our school by the sea, and this chord we struck with all our hearts. It is gone to us forever, for you see we left it whisper- ing in the leaves of the old friendship tree. We are gone and our senior days are but humming memories. All through the year, the high school girls have sought to make these words the symbol of their year at Gulf Park. With these motivating forces, Lloyd Hall has rung with our laughter, has stilled with our tears, and has rum- bled as we held a pep rally and set off for a game. Those games have ended in both victory and defeat but in the latter case we have tried to maintain a spirit of gracious- ness and good will toward our opponents. We have learned the meaning of beauty, honor, and wisdom through the undertone of cooperation that is prevalent in each task we have undertaken. As each week and month has faded, a golden thread has entwined each heart and made us one. By now, our antics are over and only fond memories remain, although, We ' ll never really say good-bye; but with a long and lingering sigh, we ' ll leave the home of our young dream where love and laughter reign supreme. . . .
