M G G as s E Q E e Q When the last high-piled banls of the war clouds have swept off, leaving only an occasional flicker of lightning on the horizon and voicing their spent power in a last faint rumble of thunder, they leave the infinite heavens cleansed for the first pale beam of golden light that plays along the tree tops: intensifies, and with a final burst of glory hallows the Earth's entirety with the dawn of peace. Peace, calm, repose-lighting every soul with a burning hope. Mercurial hope, that we grasp with the fibres of our beings, ever praying to the God of All for lasting tranquillity. So, we, the staff, with this prayer in our hearts, dedicate the twenty-fifth volume of the Sea Gull to-PEACE.

GMES Park has nunu passed the first signpost-development-on its journey of success. During the twenty-five preceding years, there have been many small markers along the way to help us stay on the path. Each year has had its own special marker but now, with this twenty-fifth pike, we have reached a retrospec- tive point. The way has not always been easy. Sometimes, it was rough and over- grown with vegetation. There was the troubled time when our college first started and the entire world was trying to find its way. Sometimes it was narrow and we had to force our way through, broadening and growing as we went, always keeping our eyes focused ahead, watching and waiting for the danger signs that would come. As we progressed, each year we would try to beautify and plant new seeds along the side that we could look back on and be proud of. For our motto, Q'Non Nobis Solumf' was always before us, not for ourselves alone, but for the others to come. And now that we have in our vision the broad, smooth highway, we will not relax our vigil but keep forever looking onward, toward distant mark- ers of achievements.
