MANAGEMENT CLUB BECOMES MEMBER OF SOCIETY FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF MANAGEMENT The Society for the Advancement of Management accepted the GTI Management Club for membership in the 1972-73 school year. The Society is a group of business executives, experts in the field of management dedicated to the development of a higher level of efficiency and understanding in the field of management. On October 15th members welcomed Mr. Larry Wilson Vice President of Manufacturing at Gilbarco in Greensboro as guest speaker. 2 ee —— AUTO TECH CLUB BENEFITS FROM STUDENT MECHANICS CLINIC The GTI Auto Tech Club’s field trip to Charlotte Motor Speedway included participation in a student mechanics clinic and the pleasure of watching the Charlotte 300 Race. Underway are plans for visits to the Alanta GM Assembly Plant and to the Portsmouth Ford Assembly Plant. Adding a new twist to Tech Talk, Auto Tech Club members featured “’Grimey Grimes Car Clinic’’ designed to answer questions and give tips on car maintenance.
