ie i, As Guilford Technical Institute increases its student body, it also increases its building capacity. Construction for the Library-Classroom Building began in Fall Quarter of 1967 and was completed in the Summer of 1968. The Library-Classroom Building is composed of three floors. The library is located on the third floor. It contains more 7,000 volumes of books and a large study area. The second floor consists of the administration offices and several classrooms. The first floor has classrooms, faculty offices, and the auditorium. The pictures display the beauty of this modern building: Included are the auditiorium which seats approximately 150 people, the manual typing room, the corridor leading to the auditorium and faculty offices, a classroom equiped with tables and chairs rather than desks, our spacious contemporary library, and exterior of our most recent structure. Pride, beauty, and progress are being added to our campus everyday. The students, faculty and administration are very proud to be a part of this progress.

G OOD THE DEEPEST WORTH These are the things I prize And hold of deepest worth: Light of the sapphire skies, Peace of the silent hills, Shelter of forest, comfort of the grass, Shadow of clouds that swiftly pass, And after showers The smell of flowers, and of the good brown earth, And best of all, along the way, Friendship and mirth.
