Under the direction of Mrs. Ruth Gus- tafson, the choirs opened their concert season with the Christmas Concert, in which they pre- sented the annual Christmas Story, The Mira- cle of Notre Dame. In addition to their school concerts and the Spring Concert, the individual choirs presented programs at area grade schools and rest homes. The members of A Cappella made plans for a concert tour in Janu- ary. The weekend trip included a stop in Minne- apolis and a performance at a church service Sunday morning. The Guilford Madrigals, who traveled to England, Ireland, and Scotland last summer, performed at the Woman's Club fash- ion show and many other events throughout the year.
