Even the nameplate was new, the old emblem having been traded for newer, more modern lettering. In addition to publishing the newspaper, the staff, along with the yearbook staff, ran the coatcheck at the basketball games and spon- sored Coronation Ball in January. ln the spring, the staff followed custom by initiating new members into the honorary journalistic society, Quill and Scroll, and by helping next year's staff prepare to begin again in the fall.
