Department offers English electives English electives were offered to seniors for the first time this year. Each senior taking Eng- lish chose from a list of courses including Advanced Placement English, Major British Writers, Critical Approach to Literature and Literature of Existentialism, Philosophy and Literature, the Quest for Identity and Sociolog- ical Approaches to Literature, and Shorter Narrative Literature and Twentieth Century Literature.
