Cheerleaders, Revises Initiation Ceremon T This year the R-Club worked to promote school spirit in the true sense of the word. The R-Club is a select group of young men and women who have earned a sophomore, junior varsity, or a varsity award in ath- letics. This was the first year the cheerleaders took an active part in the club's activities, and the boys all felt they played an impor- tant role in making the year a success. Selling booster buttons, calendars, R-Club pins and jackets, the R-Club financed a fall hayride, an after-game dance, and a spring dance. This year a new ceremony for initi- ating new members was established. Mr. Norm Erickson was the club's sponsor.
