HOMECOMING . . SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE The snap is off by Guilford College quarterback Donnie Redmon, who finds an open receiver down- fieid for a big gain. !Rg] 1 ■ H b m S Si E The Quakers enter the field with heads high, ready to face Lenoir-Rhyne. Unfortunately, the game was lost with a score of 17-6, Homecoming . . . From the picnic on the lawn to the football game in the after- noon to the Young Alumni Dance at the Airport Mar- riott, Homecoming was a weekend with something fun for everyone. Students, par- ents and alumni mingled at the game, joined by an impressive show of school spirit with a float contest at halftime. Al- though Guilford ended up on the wrong side of the victory column, the spirit of the fans was undaunted. Guilford athletic sup- porters have learned that it isn ' t whether you win or lose, it ' s how you watch the game. The Young Alumni Dance (attended by some very young alums) was a smashing success, giving seniors a taste of Life After Guilford. Homecoming at Guilford is a time for monkey buis- ness .
